Chickpeas with rice and chorizo

Chickpeas are a great food to be able to reinforce physical activity since it contains a higher percentage of carbohydrates and a high degree of protein. In addition, they are also good for weight loss diets.
Ingredients
- 300 g of chickpeas.
- 200 g of rice.
- 1 piece of chorizo.
- 1/2 large onion.
- 1/2 large green bell pepper.
- 1/2 large red tomato.
- 3 garlic cloves.
- 1 teaspoon of ground pepper.
- Olive oil.
- Water.
- Salt
Preparation
First of all, I will have to put I soak the chickpeas a day before. The next day, we will rinse them and place them in an express pot with water (until covered) and cook them for about 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, we will do a stir-fry with all the vegetables. In a frying pan with a good base of olive oil, we will poach all these well chopped. When everything is poached (depleted), add the ground pepper, sauté it well, beat it with the blender and pour it over the chickpeas in the express pot. In addition, in a separate casserole, we will cook the chorizo piece.
Then we will incorporate the rice to the pot of chickpeas and we will cook it for about 20 minutes until it becomes tender and the flavors are blended.
Finally, we will place the chickpeas with the rice and sliced chorizo 1 cm thick. In addition, we will add a little parsley to decorate.
