Chicken with Almonds, Meal of 10
Hello everybody! Today I bring you a delicious recipe that a friend gave me a few days ago. And as always, I share it with you so that you can taste delicious delicacies like this. It is a chicken recipe with almonds on a base of baked potatoes, without a doubt a delicious and succulent dish.

Commonly, this food is used as an ingredient in the preparation of traditional desserts, such as nougat, marzipan and cakes, as well as in ice cream, sweets, horchata and appetizer.

Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken, chopped.
- Olive oil.
- 1 large onion.
- 2 tablespoons of diced raw almonds.
- 1-2 brick of cream.
- Salt
- Pepper.
- Thyme.
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce (optional).
- 2-3 large potatoes.
Preparation
To make this recipe for chicken with almonds, the first thing we have to do is the accompaniment, that is, the potatoes, since it is what takes the longest. To do this, we will cut the potatoes into slices 1-2 cm thick. We will place it in a baking dish or tray, and we will add salt, thyme and a drizzle of olive oil. Then we will put them in the oven at 200ºC for about 45 minutes.
Then, we will clean the chicken well (remove feathers, excess skin, etc.). Once clean, we will cut it into pieces, we will salt and pepper it and then we will pass it through a little flour, always shaking it with our hands to remove the excess flour. Next, we will put a frying pan on the fire, and we will put the chicken pieces in it until it browns (this process is called seal the meat).
At the same time that we seal the meat, in another pan, we poach the onion that we have previously chopped. When it is poached, we add the Almond flour little by little. You have to be careful with the almond, since it burns very quickly. When the almond is somewhat golden brown, add the cream and cook for 8-10 min until it reduces a little.
Next, we will season the sauce and add soy sauce to taste. This step is optional, as many people do not like soy sauce. Once the cream is reduced, we will add the already sealed chicken to the pan and cook for about 1 to 15 minutes more and… that's it !.
