Today we cook baked chicken in Cooking Recipes, but we don't do it in the usual way. We do it taking advantage of only the breasts and cooking them in a very aromatic sauce that combines sweet and savory ingredients such as honey, molasses or ketchup.

The ideal is to combine green, red and yellow peppers, to make the dish more attractive, but it is not essential.

Ingredients
  • Olive oil
  • 2 clean chicken breasts
  • Sal Island
  • Black pepper
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 3 dientes de ajo chopped
  • 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
  • ½ cup of orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons molasses
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons honey (heather)
  • 2 large bell peppers, sliced
  • Chopped parsley

Preparation
  1. We preheat the oven to 200ºC and season the breasts of chicken.
  2. In a frying pan (that you can take to the oven later) we mark the breasts on both sides with a pinch of oil. When they are golden, we remove and reserve them.
  3. Place a generous tablespoon of oil in the same pan. We incorporate the onion minced and ginger and fry for 4-5 minutes. Then add the minced garlic and cook one more minute.
  4. Meanwhile, in a bowl we mix the orange juice, molasses, ketchup and honey. Season to taste.
  5. We pour the mixture in the pan and cook for a few minutes over low heat.
  6. Add the chicken breasts, peppers and we take to the oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes, depending on the size of the breasts.
  7. We serve hot with chopped parsley.
