Chicken and ham booklet
Chicken fillets are a very versatile product since they can be grilled, breaded or rolled and baked. However, they are just a very boring product that you have to enhance the flavor with foods with Serrano ham and cheese to be irresistible.
This is one way to take advantage of typical breaded chicken They serve us in any tapas bar. These delicious ham and cheese booklets will be a favorite dish for children for any improvised dinner since they can be frozen.
Ingredients
- 2-3 whole chicken breasts or fillets.
- Serrano ham slices.
- Slices of cheese.
- 1-2 eggs.
- Bread crumbs.
- Sunflower oil.
Preparation
Firstly, we will clean the chicken breasts well and we will make them steaks. This can be done by the butcher or we can also do it to our liking.
We will arrange a steak on the table or a flat plate, we will add a pinch of salt and we will place it on top a slice or two of Serrano ham and one of cheese. Then, we will place another chicken fillet on top and add another pinch of salt. Be careful with the salt that the ham already has enough.
Then, we will beat the eggs in a deep dish and we will arrange the breadcrumbs in another similar one. We will pass these chicken, ham and cheese booklets over the beaten egg and breadcrumbs and we will place them in a wide font. We will put it in the fridge for at least half an hour so that the breading takes on consistency.
Finally, we will have a large frying pan with plenty of sunflower oil and we will introduce the booklets when it is hot. We will cook until golden brown on both sides and ready to eat!
