Exotic Chicken and Cinnamon Saladitos
Surely many times you have wondered what you can do with it chicken cooked (either grilled, cooked or baked) that you have left over. We already knew the chicken salad, so today I bring you a fantastic idea that is perfect for when you have guests at home or you have to bring something to eat with you.
It's a recipe very easy, quick to make and with very inexpensive ingredients. In addition, it is eaten cold, therefore, you can leave it prepared in advance.
Ingredients (6p)
- 2 chicken breasts (approx)
- shawl
- pepper
- cinnamon
- a handful of prunes
- a splash of olive oil
- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 1 beaten egg to paint the puff pastry (optional)
Preparation
Cut the prunes into pieces, reserve in a bowl. Afterwards, we cut the chicken breasts very finely, if we have a mincer we put it there. We add to the bowl where we had the plums.
Add salt, pepper, cinnamon to taste and a drizzle of oil to the chicken with the plums.
We preheat the oven at 180º.
We spread the puff pastry sheet and cut four strips lengthwise. We fill one of the strips, and roll it on itself.
When we have it ready, we must cut the dough into small pieces, the size of the salty ones and we are putting them on the oven tray, with baking paper, separated so that they do not stick to us when baking.
We paint them with beaten egg to make them more beautiful (this step is optional).
We bake them at 180º for about 15 minutes or until the puff pastry is golden.
We take them out of the oven and let them cool.
