We are only 4 days to Valentine's Day, and you have searched, like me, thousands of recipes and gifts to surprise your partner. Well, to be totally impressed, I have brought you today this magnificent heart-shaped strawberry jam and cheesecake.

The Valentine's parties are for some people something commercial, since the large markets, thanks to advertising, see their profits grow thanks to these dates. So what best gift what you can do to your partner from something made by yourself. Cheer up and try to make it as a dessert for Valentine's dinner, surely it will be a success.

Ingredients

  • 20 Maria Dorada type cookies.
  • 100 g of butter.
  • 2 brick of cream (33% fat).
  • 2 tubs of spreadable cheese.
  • 4 sheets of gelatin.
  • Water.
  • Strawberry jam.

Preparation

To make this cheesecake and strawberry jams, we will first have to make the cookie base. To do this, we will take the cookies and chop them with the mincer. If you don't have one, you can also do it by placing the cookies on a clean cloth and crushing them with a rolling pin.

Subsequently, we will melt the butter a little in the microwave and we will add it to the crushed cookies. We will knead well with our hands until we obtain a homogeneous dough. Then we will place it on a piece of greaseproof paper and this on top of the base of the mold. We will close the mold and stretch the dough until a thin base is left. We will put it in the previously preheated oven for 5-8 min at 180ºC.

At the same time that the cookie base is in the oven, we will proceed to make the cream cheese. To do this, first we will put the gelatin sheets to soak so that they soften.

In a saucepan, we will put the two bricks of cream over low heatWhen the gelatin is soft we will add it well and stir with the rods. Then, we will add the tubs of spreadable cheese and stir again until everything is well mixed and a fine cream is left. Never bring the mixture to a boil.

We will place this cream on top of the cookie base that will be cold already, and we will take it to the refrigerator for at least 3 hours so that it sets well. When that time has passed, we will take it out of the refrigerator and add the strawberry jam on top and put it back in the fridge for another hour.
