Flan is a popular dessert traditionally made with a base of egg yolks, sugar and milk and cooked in a bain-marie. In Cooking Recipes we have prepared several versions of it: chocolate, walnuts and almonds, coffee ... to which we add one more cheese!
I love cheese desserts, so by now I have tried several versions of queso flan. The last one is with condensed milk, a bomb! You can do it in a traditional way in the oven or faster in the pot; It will depend on the desire and patience you have in the kitchen.
Cheese flan and condensed milk
The cheese and condensed milk flan is one of the versions of this popular dessert that can be cooked in a double boiler in the oven or in a quick cooker.

Ingredients
- Liquid candy
- 5 large eggs
- 115 g. light cream cheese
- 370 ml. evaporated milk
- 300 ml. condensed milk
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla essence
Preparation
- We pour into the bottom of the mold or individual molds in which we are going to prepare the flan, Liquid candy.
- In a bowl, we beat the eggs until they foam.
- We then incorporate the cheese, condensed milk and evaporated milk; one by one, beating after each addition until completely integrated.
- We pour the mixture into the individual mold or molds and the we cover with aluminum foil.
- We preheat the oven to 180ºC.
- We place a source in the oven, at medium height, and we pour boiling water therein.
- We introduce the molds already prepared at the source. The water should reach at least half the wall of each mold or so.
- We bake in a bain-marie for about 1h or until the puddings set.
- We let them warm to room temperature and then the we put in the fridge up to minutes before serving.
