Carrot and cheese cake, an exquisite mix of flavors
Now that Autumn has arrived, it is recommended and very practical for most people, leave the excesses of summer and eat healthy, low-calorie foods. For this reason, today I have prepared a delicious and quick cake of carrots and cheese, with a lot of flavor, even if it is a vegetable.
Sometimes the vegetables They are not very loved by the little ones, therefore, they must be accustomed from an early age to eating this type of food. Thus, this cake recipe will be very useful to be eaten easily.
Ingredients
- 2 large carrots.
- 150 g of grated cheese.
- 2 garlic cloves.
- 120 g of smoked bacon.
- 1 brick of cream to cook.
- 3 eggs.
- Olive oil.
- Parsley.
- Salt
- Nutmeg.
Preparation
Firstly, we will peel and cut the carrots in little squares. In addition, we will cut the smoked bacon into strips and finely chop the garlic cloves. All this, we will poach it in a pan with olive oil.
Besides, in a bowl, we will place the grated cheese, the cream, the 3 eggs, the salt and a pinch of nutmeg, and we will beat it with a rod. This is what will make the carrot cheese cake set.
Once the vegetablesWe will add it to the bowl and stir well with the rod so that all the ingredients are mixed and blended well.
Finally, We will grease a mold with olive oil and we will place a piece of greaseproof paper at the bottom, so that later it will be easier to unmold the carrot cake. We will put it in the oven at 180ºC for about 45 minutes with the heat up and down.
As each oven varies, the cake will be ready to eat when it is well set and when it has taken on a toasted color and, also, when we prick with a toothpick and it comes out clean.
