  • 700 gr. of onion
  • 30 gr. of butter
  • 30 gr. Of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons sugar

  • vinegar
  1. Put the oil and butter in a frying pan. Cook over medium heat so that the butter warms up and melts.
  2. Once melted add the onion cut into julienne. Fry over medium / low heat for about 35 minutes and season.
  3. When the onion is soft, add the sugar, spreading it well over the top in equal parts. Cook for another 5 minutes until caramelized.
  4. At the end add a splash of vinegar.
It keeps in perfect condition for several days in the refrigerator.
It can also be frozen without problems.
