Canned kiwis in syrup

Preserves made with natural fruits are an excellent food for you to use in sweet dessert preparations and also decorate tarts or biscuits and with the added bonus of being able to preserve them for up to six months.

Ingredients:

1 kilo of kiwis
1 liter of water
300 grams of sugar
juice of 1 lemon

Preparation:

Peel the kiwis and cut them into pieces. Separately, in a pot, prepare the syrup, with the sugar and water and boil over low heat for 30 minutes. Next, add to this preparation, the pieces of kiwis and the lemon juice.

Then boil this mixture for 5 to 8 minutes. Remove and pack in glass jars, cover with the syrup and sterilize in a bain-marie for 20 minutes. Once cold, store them in a dry and cool place.
