Ingredients
  • 3-4 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 dientes de ajo chopped
  • A few sprigs of thyme
  • 15 slices of bread (baguette)
  • 400 g. of mushrooms, champignons….
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation
  1. Heat 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. We add the garlic and the thyme and cook for a few seconds until the garlic is fragrant.
  2. Add the mushrooms and cook 3-4 minutes without stirring. Season with salt and pepper and slightly reduce the heat. We cook the mushrooms 6 more minutes stirring occasionally until tender.
  3. We correct the salt point.
  4. While we prepare the mushrooms, we toast the bread slices in the oven. To do this, we sprinkle them previously with oil and salt and pepper. We roast until the bread is golden.
  5. We remove from the oven and assemble the canapés, placing on each slice some mushrooms and a little fresh thyme.
