Tart with nuts

This week we are going to prepare a simple cake that is delicious, a cake with nuts. A delight to prepare accompanied by a coffee.

The nut cake can be varied and put the nuts that you like and fruits such as dried plums, raisins, dates…. A great cake, which has maple syrup that gives a rich flavor. Ideal to surprise our guests after a good meal or celebration.

Ingredients
  • A broken dough
  • 200 gr. of dried fruits (hazelnuts, almonds, walnuts ...)
  • 3 eggs
  • 25 gr. of butter
  • 100 ml. liquid cream
  • 150 ml. maple syrup

Preparation
  1. The first thing will be to put the dough in a removable mold, we will put the dough in the mold and cut what is left of the dough around the mold.
  2. We cover the dough with baking paper, put some chickpeas and put it in the oven at 180ºC for 10 minutes. When it is we remove from the oven and reserve.
  3. In a bowl, we put the Maple Syrup eggs, beat until they are foamy.
  4. Next we put the melted butter and the liquid cream and we beat well again.
  5. We will distribute this cream in the mold.
  6. We will put the nuts distributed throughout the cake.
  7. We will put it in the oven at 180ºC for about 30 minutes depending on your oven, if you see that it burns around it and the cream is still not there, cover it with a piece of aluminum foil and continue in the oven until it is ready.
  8. When we take it out of the oven, let it warm and with a kitchen brush we will paint the cake with more Maple Syrup. Apart from giving it shine, it will add more flavor.
