Brown rice with mushrooms

Today I propose a recipe for brown rice with mushrooms, a light dish with good carbohydrates. Brown rice is a cereal that we are not very used to yet, but surely if you try it you will like it.

With brown rice we can prepare and vary many dishes, from making a risotto to preparing a salad. This time I have prepared a rice with mushrooms, I do it a lot, we like it a lot. Is a very healthy dish, it only remains to accompany it with a good protein such as meat or fish.

It is also a dish that you can use in weight loss diets, it is low in calories, so we can enjoy eating !!!

Ingredients
  • 250 gr. of brown rice
  • Fresh or canned mushrooms
  • 2-Garlic
  • A little parsley

Preparation
  1. First we will put a pot with enough water with a little salt, when it starts to boil we will add the brown rice, we will let it cook until ready, about 30 minutes or as indicated by the manufacturer.
  2. In a frying pan we will put a little oil, when it is very hot we will put the fresh rolled or canned mushrooms. We will sauté them until they are golden brown.
  3. In the blender glass we will put a good jet of oil, 2-3 garlic and a handful of parsley, we will crush it a little. We booked.
  4. When the rice is ready, we take it out and drain it well.
  5. In the pan where we have browned the mushrooms, we will add the rice, stir and we will add tablespoons of the crushed garlic that we have, we will stir all the flavor.
  6. We will leave it to our taste of garlic and parsley.
  7. We will serve hot, or as a cold salad.
  8. For a starter or accompaniment it is great.
  9. And ready to serve !!!
