The best food there is for a dinner with friends are the tapas or assorted starters. For this reason, today I have prepared these Serrano ham and cheese toasts with a poached egg top.

In previous articles we have seen how poached eggs are made and these ham toasts in a variant that is also very rich. In this way, you choose to make the cover that you like the most.

Ingredients

  • Bread of the day before or frozen.
  • Serrano ham slices.
  • Grated cheese.
  • 1 clove garlic.
  • Olive oil.
  • Eggs
  • Water.

Preparation

First of all, we will have to defrost bread to make the toasts and cut it into slices. If you prefer to choose a good loaf of bread, you will only have to cut the slices, in this way, let's take advantage of the bread from the day before.

These slices, we will place them on the oven plate and we will spread olive oil, which must be marinated for a few days with a whole clove of garlic. Afterwards, we will place a slice of Serrano ham and some grated cheese on it, and we will put it in the oven for 5 minutes at 180ºC.
