White and dark chocolate flan


White and dark chocolate flan, a simple dessert ideal to prepare these holidays. A dessert that does not need an oven. Fabulous recipe to prepare a holiday, since it is a dessert that we can prepare in advance and although these parties are full of sweets such as donuts, pestiños, polvorones, nougat ... .. This dessert will be very good to finish a meal.

In the base I have put some cakes, you can also put muffins, cookies or just nothing.

  • 150 gr. dark chocolate to melt
  • 150 gr. white chocolate
  • 600 ml. whipping cream
  • 400 ml. milk
  • 2 envelopes of curds
  • 1 glass of milk for the cakes
  • Soletilla biscuits or cookies, muffins, sobaos ...

  1. To prepare the white and black chocolate flan, we will first put half of the 300 ml cream. In a saucepan over the fire, when it begins to heat up, add the white chocolate and stir until it is discarded.
  2. In another side in a bowl we put 200 ml. of milk, we will add an envelope of curd, we will dissolve it well until there are no lumps. Add the curd mixture to the saucepan and stir until it starts to boil. We withdraw.
  3. We take a mold and cover the bottom with the caramel. We add the chocolate mixture. Let it cool for 10 minutes and put it in the fridge.
  4. We repeat the same with the dark chocolate. We put the cream with the dark chocolate, when it is hot and the chocolate is discarded, we add the milk with the curd.
  5. We stir until it starts to boil. We turn off and reserve and let it temper. We pour the chocolate mixture over the other layer of white chocolate.
  6. We put the glass of milk in a bowl and pass the sponge cakes without getting too wet. We are putting them on top of the chocolate layer, like this throughout the mold, forming a base.
  7. We will put it in the fridge and let it cool 3-4 hours or overnight. When we go to serve we pour it into a source and serve.
