Beetroot croquettes

Today's proposal is to prepare simple and appetizing beetroot croquettes to be enjoyed as a hot starter or to accompany dishes containing chicken or fish fillets.

1/2 kilo of grated raw beets
2 onions
minced garlic and parsley, to taste
ground cumin, a pinch
Salt and pepper, a pinch
breadcrumbs, amount needed
common oil, quantity required

Process the onions and place them in a bowl, add garlic and parsley, chopped to taste, the grated beets, a few tablespoons of breadcrumbs, season with salt, pepper and a pinch of ground cumin. Then mix all the ingredients well and form the croquettes.

Coat the croquettes in breadcrumbs and set aside in a bowl. Place the oil in a pot and when it is hot, arrange the croquettes and fry them on both sides. Once cooked, drain them for a few moments on absorbent paper sheets and taste them immediately.
