Beer cheese sausages
Sausages are sometimes considered an unhealthy food, yet the vast majority of people love them. I know they can cook in many ways, roasted, cooked, fried, but today I propose to make them in a rich, but simple, beer-based sauce.
The combination of a good sauce with traditional sausages is another delicious way to taste them. Beer is considered beneficial for the prevention of cardiovascular, bone and neurodegenerative diseases, as long as it is taken in moderation.
Ingredients
- 10-12 cheese sausages.
- 1 small onion.
- 1 glass of beer.
- Olive oil.
Preparation
First, we will put a frying pan on the fire along with a good drizzle of olive oil. In it, we will place the whole cheese sausages and we are sautéing them. After a few minutes that they are cooked, we will remove them from the pan.
Meanwhile, we are peeling and chopping the onion very finely. We will poach this mince in the same pan where we had sausages. We will let the onion poach well until it takes on a golden tone.
Lastly, we will add the beer to the pan and we will let it reduce for a few minutes. Then we will add the sausages to the sauce and let it cook for a few more minutes over low heat.
