The rib can be prepared in so many ways ... Probably the best way I like it is roasted, seasoned with some aromatic herbs and accompanied by a good spicy sauce. The recipe of barbecue rib with rice that I propose today, it has a little of all that.
In addition to a recipe full of flavor, the one I propose today is a simple recipe in which you will not invest too much time. Most of the work will be done by the oven. Before roasting the rib, yes, you must have had it marinating in the fridge with a set of spices that will multiply its flavor. Take this into account when calculating the time.
- 1 Pork rib
- 3 teaspoons of dried oregano
- 2 teaspoons ground black pepper
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- ½ teaspoon ground cayenne
- 1 teaspoon of butter
- Barbecue sauce
- 2 cups of cooked white rice To accompany
- We start by mixing the oregano in a container. black pepper, minced garlic, ground cayenne and salt.
- Season the rib with the mixture. We use our hands to make sure it "penetrates" the meat.
- We wrap with film transparent and let it marinate in the fridge for at least an hour.
- After time, we preheat the oven to 190ºC and remove the rib from the fridge.
- We spread the rib, on both sides, with the melted butter and then with the barbecue sauce. We use a silicone brush for this.
- We take to the oven and roast for 20 minutes. After that time, turn the ribs, taking advantage of the moment to spread it again with barbecue sauce. Cook another 20 minutes.
- When it's almost done we raised the temperature at 210ºC for 5-10 minutes so that the meat is browned.
- We serve the rib with the cooked rice.
