Banana Raisin Oatmeal Cookies

Can they be done three ingredient cookies? The answer is yes". It can be done with ingredients as healthy as banana, raisins and oat flakes. It is not the first time that we have used oat flakes to make a dessert; is an essential ingredient in crumbles such as pear and chocolate.

Returning to cookies, these are ideal to take advantage of those ripe bananas from the fruit bowl. It takes 5 minutes to mix them with the rest of the ingredients and 15 minutes in the oven to be able to enjoy these cookies. A different cookies that I hope you are encouraged to try.

These cookies are proof that three ingredients are enough to make a delicious snack: banana, raisins and rolled oats.

Ingredients
  • 280 g. ripe banana
  • 125 g. oat flakes
  • A handful of raisins
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon (optional)

Preparation
  1. We preheat the oven at 190ºC and line the tray with baking paper.
  2. We peel the bananas, place them in a bowl and mash with a fork.
  3. Add the oat flakes and mix to form a more or less homogeneous dough.
  4. Finally, we add the raisins and cinnamon. We mix again.
  5. We help each other with two teaspoons to drink portions of the dough and shape them, before placing them on the baking tray. After placing all of them, I flattened them slightly so that they were not so rounded.
  6. We bake for 14 minutes ohuntil they are golden.
  7. After we place on a rack to cool completely. We keep in a can in a cool place.
