Baked spiced chicken breasts

When we start a slimming diet we pull our hair to know that we will always have to opt for chicken. However, this type of food is so versatile that it can be made in a thousand ways, what you have to put is desire and imagination.

All the chicken breasts they are usually quite dry, so you have to make a vinaigrette or sauce to wash with at all times so that they do not stay with this result. In addition, as a garnish we have proposed a delicious mashed potatoes.

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts.
  • Juice of one lemon.
  • White wine.
  • Salt
  • Thyme.
  • Rosemary.
  • Oregano.
  • Parsley.
  • Ground black pepper
  • Olive oil.
  • Mashed potatoes.

Preparation

First, we will put the well washed breasts in a high container to be able to marinate them well. In this container we will add all the spices together with the lemon juice, and we will leave marinate for half an hour.

Once this time has passed, we will pass them to a baking dish, which we will coat well with olive oil so that the breasts do not stick together. In addition, we will add all the mixture of lemon juice and spices (reserve half for watering), and a splash of white wine. These we will put in the oven for 1 hour at 200 ºC with the preheated oven.

Between 15 and 15 minutes we are watering with a little of the mixture of spices and lemon juice, so we make sure that the breasts do not remain dry.

Finally, 10 minutes before removing the chicken breasts we will do the mashed potatoes. We will serve with the breasts cut into medallions along with a little of the juice and a stick of mashed potatoes. I hope you like this recipe.
