Baked quinces

Today we will prepare an exquisite dessert of baked quinces, being a simple recipe to prepare and excellent to taste at the end of lunch or dinner on the weekend.

Ingredients:

6 quinces
150 grams of sugar
water, amount needed
350 cc. sweet wine
fresh whipped cream, to taste

Preparation:

First peel the quinces and cut them in half and then in quarters, remove the seeds and the center. Arrange them in a dish that you can take to the oven and cover them halfway with water, sprinkle them on top with the sugar and add the sweet wine.

Cook this preparation in the oven at medium temperature until the quinces are tender. Finally, remove from the oven and serve them warm or cold accompanied with a portion of whipped cream.
