Lentil burgers cooked in the oven are an excellent food due to their iron properties and combining them with brown rice we will obtain more proteins and vitamins for a healthy diet.
Ingredients:
1 cup brown rice (cooked)
3 cups lentils (cooked)
2 chopped onions
2 beaten eggs
minced garlic and parsley, to taste
oregano, a pinch
breadcrumbs, amount needed
Salt and ground pepper, to taste
Preparation:
Boil the lentils until tender, remove the water and process. Boil the brown rice and once cooked, strain it and process it.
In a bowl mix the lentils and rice and add the chopped onions and season with salt, pepper, garlic and parsley and a pinch of oregano and add the eggs. Shape the burgers and roll them in breadcrumbs. Arrange them in a dish previously greased with oil and cook them in the oven until golden brown. Finally, remove them and serve them with a vegetable salad or mashed potatoes or pumpkin.
Very nice recipe. I usually make a lentil meatloaf, stuffed with strips of bell pepper, julienned carrots and cheese.

I made them and they came out rich but a little dry. Also add chopped carrot and red pepper. Is there a secret to make them come out a little more humid? Thanks!!
