Cuttlefish and artichoke stew

Today we prepare a Cuttlefish and artichoke stew, a delicious homemade dish. A very complete dish, a combination of vegetables with protein rich, simple and light.

Ingredients
  • One cuttlefish (350gr.)
  • 3 artichokes
  • ¼ onion
  • A piece of green pepper
  • 4 tablespoons of tomato sauce
  • 100 ml. white wine
  • A tablespoon of flour
  • Salt and Oil

Preparation
  1. To prepare this cuttlefish and artichoke stew, first we chop the cuttlefish. We will heat a casserole with 2 tablespoons of oil, when it is very hot we will add the cuttlefish.
  2. We will sauté it well, we will leave it on one side of the casserole and we will put the chopped onion.
  3. If necessary we will add a little more oil. When the onion begins to be a little transparent, we will add the chopped green pepper.
  4. Sauté it and leave it for about 5 minutes, so that it is poached and we will add the fried tomato, if you have homemade better, if not use a good tomato.
  5. We will sauté it all together.
  6. On one side of the pan we put the tablespoon of flour and sauté it with everything.
  7. Then we will add the wine and leave it for a few minutes for the alcohol to evaporate.
  8. We prepare the artichokes, we remove all the leaves until we reach the most tender part and we will divide them in half or quarters, we will remove the hairs from the center, with the tip of a knife it is removed very well.
  9. We will add them to the casserole and cover it with water.
  10. We will taste it with salt.
  11. We will leave it until the artichoke is soft, the sauce should thicken a little, as you like it.
  12. And it will be ready, it is done right away and if you want a more complete dish, when you add the artichokes, you can add a potato and it is a delicious stew.
