Ingredients
  • 1 puff pastry
  • 2 golden apples or pippin
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon

Preparation
  1. First we are going to prepare the filling, for this, we must wash and peel the apples well.
  2. We cut the fruit into thin slices and reserve.
  3. We put a pan over medium heat with the 2 generous tablespoons of butter.
  4. Once the butter is melted, add the apple slices, 2 tablespoons of sugar and a tablespoon of cinnamon to the pan.
  5. We stir carefully and cook over low heat until the apple is tender.
  6. While we let the apple warm, we are preparing the puff pastry.
  7. If the puff pastry is frozen, we will have to stretch the dough that we will have previously defrosted.
  8. We stretch with the help of a rolling pin and flour, the dough should not be too thin.
  9. If you prefer to skip this step, you can buy the fresh puff pastry that is already stretched.
  10. We prepare a baking paper and spread a layer of well-mixed sugar and cinnamon on it.
  11. We put the already stretched puff pastry on top, on the puff pastry we spread the caramelized apple well.
  12. We roll the puff pastry on itself, taking care that it does not break.
  13. We leave in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes so that it takes consistency and to be able to cut the dough well.
  14. After that time, we cut into portions of about 4 centimeters.
  15. We preheat the oven to 210º and prepare the tray with a baking paper.
  16. We are placing the puff pastry on the sheet, with space between them as they spread out a lot.
  17. We put in the oven for about 15 minutes or until the puff pastry turns golden brown.
  18. Once ready, we let the puff pastry cool on an oven rack.
  19. And ready!

What a good looking! I want to do it but I wanted to know if the apple I can change the golden or pippin apple for the red or pink lady apple (any of the varieties of red that are sweeter). Thanks!
