Angel hair bayonese

Few desserts are as simple as berries. This puff pastry sweet with angel hair filler that is served in individual portions is also known as «cortadillo». Common in pastry shops, it is a great resource to turn to when we need a quick dessert.

A sheet of puff pastry and a can of already prepared angel hair are enough to prepare half a dozen of delicious bayonnaise. Those with a sweet tooth will prefer them with a thick layer of angel hair like the one I have prepared; I particularly prefer the finest berries. Ingredients

  • 2 sheets of puff pastry
  • 1 can of Angel Hair (I found it in Mercadona)
  • Sugar
  • 1 egg
  • Sugar + Cinnamon

Crafting

We preheat the oven at 200º.

We unroll the sheets puff pastry on greaseproof paper.

Then we spread the angel hair above one of them, leaving a free centimeter from the edge.

We beat the egg and with the help of a brush, we smear the edges to later be able to seal them.

We put the other sheet of holadre on top and with a fork we exert pressure to seal the edges.

We prick with a fork The surface of the sweet patty and with the rest of the beaten egg we paint it.

We finish the preparation, sprinkling sugar and cinnamon above.

Bake 15-20 minutes until we see the surface golden.

Notes

If you want to serve them in individual portions, make a few shallow cuts in the top puff pastry before baking, which will serve as a guide later.

      Angel hair is made with a pumpkin that does exist in Argentina. The scientific name for squash, which is commonly called citron, is Curcurbita Ficifolia.
      You can find the way to prepare it on the internet, but the ingredients are:
      For 5 jars of 250 gr.
      1 Pumpkin from 3 to 4 Kg.
      1 lemon
      1 and 1/2 Sugar.
      1 little ground cinnamon.
