Almond Coca

Today I bring you one almond coca. With few ingredients we have this coca to accompany coffee, a snack or as a dessert. There is nothing better than a coffee with a piece of good coca.
The almond coca is delicious, it does not have wheat flour, only almond flour, it is ideal for celiacs, it is juicy and a rich almond flavor, when I make it it is very successful, I like it a lot.
There are many recipes for almond or any other dried fruit cocas, but this is very good and simple, it is made quickly and with few ingredients, it is very similar to the almond cake that is made in Galicia, it is also similar to the almond cake that is made in Alicante. In each area it adds its touch with lemon zest, orange or a few drops of anise.

Ingredients
  • 250 gr. ground almond
  • 200 sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • Powdered sugar
  • Zest of half a lemon, orange ...

Preparation
  1. To make the almond cake, we will first put the oven to heat to 170ºC with heat up and down.
  2. While we prepare the mold. We spread it with butter. We line it with special baking paper. We booked.
  3. We started with the coca. In a bowl we put the ground almonds, the sugar, the eggs and the lemon zest. With the mixer we blend everything until it is like a cream.
  4. We put all the cream in the mold.
  5. We put it in the oven at 170ºC, we will leave it for about 30 minutes or until when you click in the center with a toothpick, it comes out dry.
  6. Let cool, remove it and put it in a bowl, sprinkle with icing sugar.
  7. And ready !!!
