Ingredients

For 2 people:

  • 10 plates of cannelloni.
  • 1 small onion.
  • 1 medium green bell pepper.
  • 2 garlic cloves.
  • 2 cans of tuna.
  • Fried tomato.

  • Water.
  • Grated cheese.

For the bechamel:

  • Olive oil.
  • 2 tablespoons of flour.
  • Milk.
  • One teaspoon of nutmeg.
  • Salt
  • Parsley.

Preparation

First we will have to cook the pasta for these Tuna cannelloni. To do this, we must always look at the packaging, since each manufacturer varies in cooking times. In this case, being small plates of cannelloni We only need to cook them in plenty of boiling water for about 8-10 min. Don't forget to add salt to that water! When they are cooked, we will cool them under the water tap and place it on a clean cloth so that it absorbs the water.

While we are cooking the pasta, we will do the filling. We will chop the garlic, onion and pepper into very small pieces. In a frying pan, we will put a good background of olive oil and, we will first add the garlic, then the onion and, finally, the pepper. We will cook this rehash for about 8 min so that the vegetables brown well and reduce their size. When we see that it is done, we will transfer it to a deep plate where we will add the two cans of tuna and a good drizzle of fried tomato.

Cannelloni filling

Next, when the pasta is already cooked, cold and dry, we will proceed to fill each of the cannelloni plates with the filling that we have made previously. We will arrange the cannelloni plate and place about two tablespoons of the filling on top. We have to measure the amount of filling well, since we cannot go over it because it would come out from the sides, nor do we fall short, but it would be a very empty cannelloni. More or less like the image below.

Later, when we have all these Tuna cannelloni filled, we will place it on a deep container and we will add a drizzle of fried tomato, the béchamel sauce and grated cheese on top. bechamel: we put a saucepan with two or three tablespoons of olive oil, to which, when it is hot, we will add two or three tablespoons of flour. We will move this very well with a rod so that it does not make lumps and, we add the milk little by little until we get a thick sauce. We will add salt, nutmeg and parsley.
