Spaghetti Bolognese

Spaghetti Bolognese

Today I bring you this delicious pasta recipe, with a homemade bolognese sauce that the whole family will love. To make the dish somewhat lighter, I have used minced chicken, a lean meat with less fat than other meats. But if you prefer, you can use minced beef or pork, and even a mixture and it will be an even juicier sauce.

Pasta is a success for all tables, since generally all children like it and eat it without any problem. This recipe is adapted to the whole familyEven for babies over 18 months, you just have to cut the spaghetti with scissors to prevent children from choking.

  1. In a large saucepan, bring water to a boil, add a little olive oil and salt.
  2. When the water starts to boil, add the spaghetti whole, without breaking them.
  3. Using a kitchen spatula, we are helping the pasta to enter the water, without breaking.
  4. Let it cook according to the time recommended by the manufacturer.
  5. Meanwhile, we are preparing the Bolognese sauce in a large skillet.
  6. Cut the onion into small pieces, wash the green pepper and chop into small pieces.
  7. We put in the pan a bottom of olive oil and when it is hot, we fry the vegetables.
  8. When they are soft, add the minced meat, salt to taste and cook carefully so that it does not stick.
  9. Once the pasta is al dente, drain it and cool it under the tap, to stop cooking.

  11. Once the meat is ready, we add the tomato sauce to taste.
  12. We stir well and immediately add the spaghetti to the sauce.
  13. Mix with the help of a spatula and add the grated cheese to taste.
  14. While the pasta is heating up and the cheese is melting, we are mixing and moving the pasta carefully so that it does not burn.

Notes
You can use tomato sauce or make it yourself at home, whichever you like best.
