All the tostas or canapés They are usually the great triumph of Christmas dinners, so it is an option that you can choose for Christmas dinner as a starter or appetizers.

Ingredients

  • Rustic bread.
  • Duck foie (parfait).
  • Tomato slices.
  • 1 clove garlic.
  • Olive oil.
  • Grated semi-cured cheese.

Preparation

First of all, we will have to cut the sliced rustic bread of at least 1 cm and a half thick, so that it is thin but also supports the weight of the ingredients. We will put these in the oven for a few minutes so that it takes a crisp point but not completely.

We will remove them from the oven and rub a garlic clove to all the toasts, in order to give it a touch more flavor. In addition, we spread a little duck foie and we will place a tomato slice on top.

Afterwards, we will add a pinch of salt to the tomato slice and a drizzle of olive oil, so that it does not get so dry when au gratin.

Finally, we will add a cheese stick freshly grated semi-cured and we will put them in the oven to gratin them, just about 5 minutes with the grill until the cheese melts.
