I have always loved custard, and at my house, at least once a month they are made. Sometimes we add ground cinnamon and other liquid caramel as it is in this case, but they always have three fixed ingredients: milk (semi-skimmed), 5 Maria cookies at the bottom of each plate and a Potax flan envelope.

Potax flan with biscuit bottom
A traditional custard recipe with three basic ingredients: semi-skimmed or whole milk, a Potax flan envelope and 5 Maria cookies for each flan.

Ingredients
- 1 envelope of Flan Potax
- 600 ml. Milk
- 200 ml. Condensed milk
- Liquid candy
- 20 Maria Cookies
Preparation
- Put On 500 ml. milk in a saucepan and leave over medium heat until it is about to start to boil (stir from time to time to prevent the milk from settling).
- In a glass, put the 100 ml. milk remaining y dissolve the Potax flan envelope. Stir well with a spoon until no lumps.
- When the milk is about to boil, add the flan and milk mixture and the condensed milk. Leave over medium-low heat without stopping to stir.
- Preparing 4-5 bowls / bowls of ration; put some 5 Maria cookies in each bowl. Fill the bowls with the flan and sprinkle with a little cinnamon or liquid caramel, to taste each. Let cool and reserve in the fridge until serving time.
