Ingredients
- 1 rectangular puff pastry sheet
- Cocoa cream (Nutella, Nocilla) or melting chocolate
- 1 egg
- Sliced almonds, chocolate noodles…
- Sugar glass
Preparation
- To prepare the croissants filled with Nutella, first we will turn on the oven at 180ºC, with heat up and down.
- We extend the puff pastry leaving the sheet of paper. We make a cut in the center of the dough on one side, on the other side we will make a cut from the corner to the sign we have made in the center and from the other corner to the center, thus forming a large triangle.
- We remove the sides carefully, since we also get more croissants.
- Spread the dough with the chocolate cream without reaching the edges. We make a small cut in the center of the wide edge and we gradually roll up to the peak of the dough that we will stretch a little and seal it, we turn the ends inwards giving a crescent shape.
- With the pieces of the sides that have been in the form of a triangle we will form more croissants. We put them on a baking tray. We beat the egg, with the help of a brush we paint the croissants, we put some laminated almonds on top, chocolate noodles...
- Bake until golden brown. We will be careful not to burn the puff pastry, it must be golden.
- We remove from the oven, let it cool.
- Sprinkle with icing sugar and serve.
