Nevaditos, a traditional sweet at Christmas

Nevaditos

Nevaditos will have been present in many Christmas tables and they will be again on New Year's Eve. They are very similar to puff pastry and how are they eaten alone. Together with a few pieces of nougat they are ideal to complete the dessert tray.

If you have never used lard, you may find it a bit strange to work with it, but it is not more difficult to work with it than with butter. Unlike the puff pastry, in addition, these sweets do not require any special kneading. Doing them will be child's play.

Probably the worst moment for you will be deciding when to remove them from the oven. At least I always have doubts despite having done them many times, but it is enough to look at the edges for it. When the snowman presents a very light golden color and darker edges, it will be time! Cheer up! They are delicious.
