Arabic carrot salad

When we think of a salad Lechuguitas always come to mind, but we actually have a wide variety to choose from. The one that I bring you today is a carrot salad, very easy to make and a little different from what we usually eat in salads.

Arabic carrot salad

Degree of difficulty: Easy

Preparation time: 10-15 minutes

Ingredients for 2 people:

  • 4 carrots (a little big)
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 teeth of Garlic it
  • 1 teaspoon of Comino powdered
  • Half a teaspoon of pepper
  • Parsley
  • Sal Island

Preparation:

Wash the carrotsPeel them and cut them as you like, this time I decided to cut them into thin sticks but they can also be sliced or diced. When you cut all the carrots, bring them to a boil in a little water.

On the other hand, put a saucepan with the olive oil, chop the garlic and parsley as small as you can and, when the oil is hot, add them to the saucepan. Let it cook over a very low heat, stirring so it doesn't burn.

Carrot salad

If the carrots are already tender, drain them and add them to the saucepan along with the pepper, cumin and salt. Mix everything well and leave it on the fire for another minute so that the carrots take on flavor.

Carrot salad

After that time you already have your arabic carrot salad list.

      Hi Ana,

I don't like carrots very much either, but as you say, with seasonings it is delicious. Still I take it as a side or something like that, I wouldn't be able to eat that whole plate of carrots by myself hahaha. I'm glad it works for your diet ^ _ ^

Greetings and thank you very much for reading us!

In the end I made this salad and it was delicious. But what I can't get is the tajine, I even ordered it from a potter and she says that it's not convenient for her to make one. There may be in Buenos Aires but I can't travel just for that. There is no cold turkey either. Can you replace it with chicken for the skewers?
