However, today I propose some delicious homemade bollycaos, very healthy. All the homemade cooking is healthier To buy it, it can be somewhat difficult, but if we love to cook, it is not a problem at all.

Ingredients

  • 500 g of flour.
  • 60 g of butter.
  • 60 g of sugar.
  • 25 g of baker's yeast.
  • 250 ml of milk.
  • 3 eggs.
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence.
  • Pinch of salt.

Preparation

First, we will do the Bollycaos dough. To do this, in a bowl, we will place the sifted flour and to this we are adding all the ingredients, first the dry ones (butter, sugar, salt) and then the liquids (milk, 2 eggs, vanilla essence). We will heat the milk a little in the microwave and, in it, we will dissolve the yeast. This dough will begin to be sticky, but we will knead it until it becomes elastic and homogeneous that it does not stick in the hands. Then let it rest for an hour and a half.

When the dough has rested, we will fold it in half and then press it, and thus degas it. We will cut small and thin portions and stretch them. We will put a little ounces of chocolate or nocilla above and we will wrap it like a bun. You must close well on all sides, otherwise, it will open.

When we have all the bollycaos done, the We will place on a baking sheet, but do not put them together too much, since with the heat they begin to rise and they would stick to each other. We will paint it with beaten egg on top and we will put it in the oven at 180ºC for about 10-15 minutes, so that we see it golden brown. It should not be more than that time, otherwise the bollycaos would get hard and we want a very tender one.

      Hi Susan! Well, in the original recipe it was filled with ounces of chocolate, thus, when heated it melted and the bollycaos itself was impregnated with it, and it was juicy.
