Choco meatballs in sauce

Meatballs are a preparation very simple and very versatile since you can make meatballs of all kinds, both meat and fish. I particularly always used hake or cod but last day I discovered being able to make them from cuttlefish, a very good food that I love and is from my land, Cádiz.

Therefore, I set out to do them and this is the result. It was a great success at home, there was absolutely nothing left and we even repeated the dish. This type of recipe are good for children to start eating fish And since they are meatballs, it will not be difficult for them to eat them.

Ingredients

  • 1 crash.
  • 1/2 onion.
  • 2 eggs.
  • Parsley.
  • 1 glass of white wine
  • Bread crumbs.
  • Pinch of salt.

For salsa:

  • 3-4 carrots.
  • 2 medium potatoes.
  • Salt
  • Olive oil.
  • Water.

Preparation

In the first place, in a mixing glass we will put the 1/2 onion, the parsley and the glass of white wine and we will crush. Afterwards, we will cut all the cuttlefish into dice, and we will add it little by little to the previous mixture to continue grinding until we get a kind of dough. We will add the eggs and salt. We mix and add a little breadcrumbs to get a typical dough for meatballs.

On the other hand, we are doing the carrot and potato sauce. In a small saucepan we will put a good background of olive oil and we will add the carrots cut into 1 cm slices and the potato cut into cachelos. Sauté it a little and add salt and water. Let it cook for about 20 minutes until everything is tender.

Then, we will make the typical balls of the meatballs and we'll fry them in a frying pan with hot oil, draining them on absorbent paper.

Finally, we will mash the carrots and potatoes to make a salsa, we will pass it through a colander or Chinese on a casserole and we will incorporate the meatballs on it. We will cook a few minutes and ready to eat.
